A positive outlook is a powerful thing.

People claim that they’ve hoped themselves to health. That it’s the reason for their younger looking skin.

And this 90-year-old woman is proof that living your best life can serve you well into your dotage.

She lives in Moscow and was recently featured on the Humans of New York Facebook page.

There are few fresh hells worse than shopping for school shoes.

When you’re feeling like crap, the go-to wisdom is to down Lemsip, hot ginger and lemon concoctions, and plenty of water.

But new research suggests it might be worth throwing red wine into the mix.

Why is it that the more you work out, the worse you feel about the way you look?

The study, conducted by the Washington University of Medicine and published in the journal Science, found that a compound found in foods and drinks such as black tea, red wine, and blueberries can prevent severe flu infections in mice.*

A student who has a rare condition that means she can sleep up to 20 hours a day has decided to represent her illness on her body with a poignant tattoo of Disney princess Aurora, from Sleeping Beauty. 

22-year-old Kaitlyn Terrana suffers from Kleine-Levin Syndrome (KLS), a rare neurological condition characterised by recurring periods of excessive sleep.

At first, the condition was mistaken for depression when Kaitlyn was just 15, as she had become withdrawn before spending most of the day a sleep.
