I decided to give up carbs for two weeks six weeks ago.

Of course, you can’t completely give up carbs unless you want to become malnourished – I mean, even celery has carbs in it. But I decided to stick to under 20g per day to see how it affected my body, my health, my confidence, and my state of mind.

People aren't impressed with National Trust for selling this 'sexist' hat

Today I read that ‘mangagement’ rings are on the rise.

That’s not a new concept or term, to be clear. Mangagement rings have been around for aaaages, with the trend first popping up on the internet in 2011.

Basically, a mangagement ring is an engagement ring… but for men.

Let's not let 'mangagement' rings become a thing

That’s right: Men, too, can enjoy the thrill of wearing a sparkly ring to let everyone know they’re off-limits and belong to another person. And they don’t even have to worry about their masculinity to do it, as it’s a mangagement ring instead of a… Read the full story

But a man has taken his love of Ikea a lot further than the rest of us – by getting a tattoo of the flat plan giant’s iconic pencil on his wrist to celebrate the opening of a new store.

This time last year, I’d just moved to the big city, and was at a posh political event in Westminster, sipping awful red wine with the Eton crowd. I had no idea how I got there, and I noticed a guy on the sidelines who looked how I felt.

We got talking, and decided to ditch the gross wine for gin and tonics in a nearby pub. Things escalated, and we ended up back at his place.
